Who wants kidney stones? Not many people I know, and yet countless people get and suffer from them way more than they'd like too. But could there be a better solution than a doctor visit and prescription medicine? I think therapeutic grade essential oils may just be the natural healing option your looking for
The kidneys, situated at the back of the abdominal cavity about 4-5 inches below the bottom rib, filter the blood and excrete impurities out to the bladder. They sense blood concentrations of sugars, salts, oxygen, hydrogen, minerals, proteins and certain hormones. The kidneys maintain these in proper homeostasis or balance, excreting any excess. The kidneys can also balance our pH, regulate blood pressure and perform blood volume control.
There are many factors that can cause the formation of kidney stones such as drinking soft drinks, which leech potassium, phosphorous and calcium from the blood. Indigestible mineral supplements such as calcium carbonate or trace minerals that haven’t been predigested by plants can also form kidney stones. Parasites can also be a culprit. It is imperative that you drink plenty of purified water for good kidney health.
Another thing that is important to know is that negative and unresolved emotions can also have an affect upon the kidneys, and every part of our body for that matter. Feelings of powerless, bad feelings, suppression and fear of love (fear to, fear of loving, or not being loveable) and fear of success can all have a negative affect upon the kidneys.
A kidney stone is a solid piece of material that forms in the kidney from mineral or protein-breakdown products in the urine. Occasionally, larger stones can become trapped in a ureter, bladder, or urethra, which can block urine flow, causing intense pain.
Kidney stones can create intense pain and dangerous infection. Some of the following conditions may indicate a need to support your kidneys:

The Chinese wolfberry, the main ingredient in NingXia Red, has been used in China for centuries as a kidney tonic and detoxifier. Essential Oils can also assist in the detoxification due to various chemical constituents and unique, lipid soluble properties.
Mix the above oils together in a glass dropper bottle then put 5 drops of the recipe in 1 to 2 oz. of NingXia red or if that is too strong, you can put it in agel capsule and then fill the capsule with V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex or organic first pressed olive oil; take 2 times daily. You may also apply the recipe neat in a compress over the kidneys.
After 2 weeks of putting a drop of lemon essential oil in my water glass (1-2x/day) my body excreted a kidney stone that I wasn't even aware was there. I tend to produce kidney stones during pregnancy, and passed over 20 throughout my 4 pregnancies.
My youngest was 2 when I started using lemon oil, and I had no idea there were still more stones floating around inside me until the day I passed it. Now I use lemon in my water regularly to help prevent any more stones from forming. -- Kristen Edwards
My husband has a history of kidney stones. In our 30 years of marriage,
he has had over 140 stones; he has so much scar tissue built up now that
he often passes one without ever having known he was forming it.
About 3 years ago, he had stones blocking the ureters on both sides. The doctor scheduled a procedure to go into and cut them up with a laser. He was unable to get one of them after 30 minutes of trying, so he proceeded on the other side, cut that stone into grains of sand and inserted stents in both ureters with instructions to return in a month to try again on the failed one.
One month later, after being on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, the doctor tried the procedure again and failed again. The ureter turned just ahead of the stone, and the physician was afraid of cutting the ureter with the laser. Again, he sent my husband home with a stent and instructions to make an appointment with an interventional radiologist. The only path left was to insert a large-bore needle down into the kidney, and introduce the camera and laser into that needle and attempt to cut the stone from above.
I searched the EOPR and this website for oils to dissolve kidney stones, and came up with Idaho Balsam Fir, Frankincense and Lemon oils. I didn't have any IBF, but had the Believe blend, which has both IBF and Frankincense in it. I borrowed some Lemon oil from my YL sponsor. When my husband arrived home on Friday night (his interventional radiology appt. was the following Monday), I made a capsule of 10 drops Believe and 10 drops Lemon oil and he swallowed that. The next morning when he woke up, I made another capsule and he took that, too.
2 hours later, he passed the stone! It was the size of a .22 bullet!!! He cancelled the appointment on Monday, but his urologist didn't believe that he'd passed the stone. He took it in with him for his follow-up appointment, and every urologist in the practice marveled at the size of the stone...as smooth as a kidney bean.
I'm still working on getting my husband to change his life habits so he'll stop forming stones. In the meantime, he takes a Believe & Lemon capsule every few weeks to dissolve any stones that may be forming. -- Marcie Fessler
